I am really happy to have my body back, or at least the start of it. I went into the hospital at 168.5 (yikes) after a gain of 38.5 lbs. In my defense...I am guessing on my weight but it was around that when we climbed the mountain. So I am going with 130 for starting weight. I know it is not realistic to get back to that weight since we were working out SO much for the climb, but a good place to start anyway. On last Tuesday I weighed 158 and the picture was taken Monday evening. (one sucking in one not...ha not much difference)

Today (9 days post) I weigh 150 and here are pictures. Progress! Obviously not quite there yet, but not bad for 9 days...I can't believe I have lost 18 pounds - although a lot of it was baby and fluids, etc. I am officially under my "biggest" weight which is what I had started weight watchers at in college (155) . It was really tough for me to pass that one on the way up but boy does it feel good on the way down. And YES I am eating plenty...drinking lots of fluids and taking in lots of calcium and protein. Eating a yogurt as I type this, which has both woo hoo!

I am in my "bigger" pre-pregnancy jeans which is fine, I am happy to have normal clothes on, even if they do kinda cut in. I am not obsessed with the numbers or getting back into clothes, etc. I just think it is intriguing to see the rapid changes in my body! Hopefully I do bounce back pretty quickly, I know the last 10-20 pounds will take some work! I can't really exercise yet but hey, sitting around on the couch burns calories right now since I am nursing :)
No post is complete without a picture of Noah! He was hanging out with Grandma.
