9 Months

Wow, 9 months old! Well here are two versions...I took an obligatory picture on his "9 month birthday" but I didn't have the heart to put him through a photo shoot. We got it done 2 days later so its close enough :) He was getting over a cold and I took him in and and he was diagnosed with a double ear infection and a sinus infection. Dr. said one of his ears was pretty bad and probably really hurt, poor little guy. We are all better now and just running out the course of antibiotics (which he actually loves...yummy pink amoxicillin, mmmm).

(Sicky sick picture)

My excuse for being late is going back to 4 days a week at work (boo). So too bad, you have to wait!
Noah this month:

-scoot/crawl/etc. Oh. My. Gosh. This kid is FAST. He has been doing this for quite some time now, about 2 months or so, but he is improving every day.

-pulling up. New favorites include the baby gates and stroller as props.

-cruising. If he is standing at the ottoman he will cruise along one side and play with toys on it. He hasn't mastered turning corners but can go back and forth.

-He is trying really hard to clap and is almost there.

-He does a fake shy thing. He will do something, look at you, then bury his head and peek up at you. Pretty cute!

-He is eating solids (purees) 2x a day (mix of homemade and some store bought) with lots of puffs as bribes, snacks, distractions as well.

-We gave him his first "meat". Aka a jar of vegetable beef pilaf. mmm? Jarred meat freaks me out but so does throwing our meat in a food processor and pureeing it myself :)

-We feed him "people food". Whatever we are eating we will give him a little nibble...breadstick, toast, turkey, etc. He is having fun discovering food.

-NO teeth yet. Little gummy monster!

-He goes in and out of an "I want my mommy" phase. Depends on his mood and how hungry or tired he is. He is definitely not scared of new people just sometimes wants to observe them from my arms.

I guess that is about it right now. We had a great Christmas and need to put pictures up. Lots of toys and nana and grandpa time.
