Beginning the weight loss journey...

I was cleared to exercise last Friday since I was 6 weeks postpartum. Darn! It had been a nice excuse :)

Well, since that initial weight loss after birth I have stayed pretty much the same (booo). I have been going back and forth for the last 6 weeks hovering around 150 (up and down a pound or two depending on how bad I ate). I am doing a fitness challenge with my sister-in-law Erika and a bunch of other ladies for 8 weeks - it is what you want to make of it. There are random "challenges" and goals each week but for me it is just making me be accountable. It is easy to snack and eat more and sit on the couch when you don't have to write it down...so back on the wagon for me. I was a bum last week but this week I have been doing good (it is only Tuesday...). I have 4 weeks until that bridesmaid dress has to fit and I think I need about 5lbs to fit. Hopefully I will make it! At least it is a start...eat healthy, exercise, eat healthy, exercise...man I want a donut :)

Oh and little man is growing out of his newborn clothes! He is just getting way too long for them...the pants look absolutely ridiculous on him and the long sleeve shirts are 3/4 length sleeve shirts now. I am sad to see some of the clothes go, they are so cute! On to new outfits I guess.
