I saw a bunch of people taking pictures of their babies each month cute onesie shirts....so I decided to make my own! I still had some iron on transfers from when we announced I was pregnant so I got on publisher and created simple designs for each month and printed 1-4 month transfers. Here is the first installment at 1 month. I want to pick a spot/animal that will show how big he grows but the lighting was not cooperating. We will try the office chair/monkey combo for now. Too bad I don't have a newborn one to compare...he is already SO much bigger!

New things that he is doing include lots and lots of smiles, skipping naps in favor of being awake, SOME longer stretches of sleep at night (longest being 4 hours...but definitely not consistently - mostly 2 hour stretches), and growing growing growing! He is at least a few inches longer and starting to slowly fill out. Last time I weighed him he was 9 pounds even, go Noah! Maybe some day he will grow round enough to fit into those clothes. He is already stretching long enough to fit into some 0-3 clothes rather than just all of the slim sized newborn things. This makes me both excited to wear new things and sad that he is growing so much (happy for healthy growth though). It is nice that he is a little more resilient now though and not quite as fragile feeling. We go back to the pediatrician in 2.5 weeks so I will have a full length and weight update then.

We are still breastfeeding and formula feeding. Usually he takes 2-3 ounces of formula after nursing. I know he only gets about an ounce from me which is fine, its an ounce better than 0! Most times in the middle of the night he doesn't take the bottle because he is too sleepy (fine by me...I am pretty sleep too!). We will continue on our little routine and be happy he is growing and still nursing a little bit. Some days I am more ok with this than others haha.

Weather has started to be really nice and our roses are in FULL bloom. So pretty! We have been doing lots of yard work and fun things around the house. Jordan got me a fire pit for the patio for Mother's day (which of course came broken, stupid shipping!) and we have trimmed up our tree, painted another bathroom, and continued to enjoy our fabulous house! It helps that we are a bit inland so we don't get the marine layer...I am sure I will eat my words in 2 months when its REALLY hot out here.

Mother's day was nice! Jordan got up and walked to the store to get brunch supplies and came home with roses. We were running late and went to church before brunch but came home and had french toast, mimosas, etc. Then we just did work around the house the rest of the day. It was nice and relaxing. Oh and we ordered my fire pit!
That is all for now, I will try to be more consistent with posting!
