18 (+) Months - Stella

Stella:
-Likes to run and jump and climb and etc.
-Has 8 teeth.
-Is becoming very vocal with words mixed with jibberish, and understands everything we say.
-Is obsessed with BroBra (brother).
-Is slowly getting better from her separation anxiety.
-Takes one consistent nap midday for 1-2 hours (only if in her room).
-Transferred to a toddler bed with no problems and sleeps BETTER. She uses a pillow, 6 blankets, 8 stuffed animals, and sleeps 7p-6a every day solid.
-When she gets up in the morning we hear her knocking on her door and saying "Daaaaaaddddddyyyyyyyyyy" because he usually lets her out.
-She loves food and eats a ton.
-She feeds herself with a fork and spoon at all meals. Don't even think about trying to feed her her applesauce like a baby...

Head: ??
Weight: ??
Height: ??
See how excited she was for her Dr. Appt? We *think* she is ~21lbs (20%) and ~33inches (90%).

She has really taken off with language lately. She surprises us with new words each day and is getting more and more clear with them.

Stella wants to be, and thinks she is, 3 years old. Both kids have been playing well together lately which has been really nice. Some of her new favorite shows include Super Why and The Grinch which they will happily watch together, woo hoo! She has also calmed down quite a bit in the last month or so with her cling and separation issues. This alone has really helped our daily happiness level.

She has a lot of spunk and some crazy ideas of what she likes/needs to do. Examples: She likes to solely enter the car from the back and climb through the trunk/over the seat to get into her car seat. Any other way results in screaming. Most afternoons she likes to have some undies time and runs around with my little pony underwear. This also means she doesn't fight diaper changes as much anymore because she knows there is always a chance she can escape and run naked (and she runs and yells "NA-NE"). She loves climbing up ladders and other parts of play structures and sliding down big slides. At our neighborhood park I can just let her play on her own on the structure and not shadow her anymore. Every afternoon we go outside so they can ride bikes. She loves "riding" her scooter or bike in the driveway, but I have to push her. Bath time is her favorite and immediately follows dinner...but if there are no bubbles...watch out. She likes to stick her head under the bath faucet and stick her face in the water then giggle. Likes to stack the four paint cups for the easel and then crash her tower. She is close to knowing the colors if I ask her to bring one but can't say the words yet. She has some strong opinions about her clothing and shoe choices. She a bundle of energy and fun!!!
