12 Months - Stella

Happy Birthday baby girl!!

We had her 12 month appointment yesterday and she is doing great.  I talked to the doctor about her diary issues and showed him a picture of a reaction and he confirmed her intolerance.  He suggested allergy testing at 2 years if she is still having issues and said I should continue breastfeeding as its the best way to get her the nutrition but if I stop then give her soy or almond milk.  I will keep on trucking, especially since she still nurses 8+ times a day and has no signs of being done :-)  Happy to do so, but I miss cheeeeeeeeese.  The doctor was very impressed with her and said she is right on track. She constantly amazes me, they warned us about shot reactions since it was new shots and particularly nasty ones...and nothing.  No fever, no fussiness, no sleepiness.  Go Stella!

Head: 48%
Weight: 20%  (17lb 12oz)
Height: 62% (29.5 inches)

 Stella this month:
-She is working on running and jumping.  She likes to watch Noah and try both.
-She lights up any room and is SO loud (not shocking if you have ever met Jordan or Noah)
-She loves dancing and especially spinning and twirling.  I am amazed that she can spin by herself!
-Still no teeth.  I'm still not complaining!
-Her words getting more frequent and more understandable.
-We showed her the sign for water once and the next day she came up to me and used the sign to ask.
-She really really likes to climb things.  Really.
-She likes to do an excessive point when she sees something she likes.  She puts her whole body into pointing that one finger!
-She and Noah are the best of friends.
-She loves to dress up in her wings and tutu. And shoes (she changes her mind on which ones).  She will bring them to me over and over and over to put on or change.
-She loves playing with her doll and feeding it (and us, and herself) from the spoon.  Funny because she hates being fed with a spoon.
-I put canvases on the wall and she loves to look up and point and smile.  She especially loves seeing Noah's picture.
-She is crazy.
