9 Months - Stella

Loves to eat all by herself.

 

We just got back from her 9 month appointment and she got great reviews from the doctor.  She is happy and healthy and keeping up on her growth curve. Doctor says she is perfect (of course)!

Stella this month:
-She (still) waves at everyone and claps all the time.  She especially loves waving bye bye.
-She pretty much will only eat with her hands now.  She loves pieces of food.  Favorites right now are chicken, rice, carrots, watermelon, and of course puffs...but she also likes to pick up her purees and smoosh them in her face. 
-She is (still, still) absolutely insane and fearless.
-She enjoys bear crawling on her hands and feet when its an "undesirable" surface for her knees like the tile...or if mean old mom put her in a dress and she cant crawl in it.
-She loves standing up and clapping and can last quite a while before she dives forward.  Any day now she will figure out how to pick up a foot and just take off.
-She is definitely going to be blonde, but the sun sometimes shows some strawberry hints.
-She says BobBob and Dada and Uh-Oh. And lots of other gibberish.
-She is 100% still attached to me.
-She loves loves loves her brother.  The first thing she does when she wakes up is look for him and follows him around the house all day.  Good thing he is patient. 
-Everyone's new favorite game is "attack" where she goes and tackles Noah.  She is a pretty tough wrestler for 9 months old.
-She dances any time she hears a hint of music. So cute.

AND as of yesterday, she can take 3 steps.  Woo hoo go baby girl!!

Cant. Stop. Shopping.

This fire truck has lasted 2.5 years and is still a favorite for both kids :-)
