| Still working on getting the photos off the real camera.... |
Stella loves to be held up on a shoulder looking out just like Noah did. I guess they are both curious and like to see the world. Right now she loves her play mat. Every time you set her on it she lights up and looks at herself int he mirror and kicks and bats at her toys. She will sit there for a half hour at least just happily playing. She is pretty close to rolling over on it but hasn't figured it out fully yet. Her appointment got rescheduled to this week so we wont know her percentages until then, but I weighed her and she is about 11 lbs. She is getting rolls and chubs that Noah never got and her skin is so soft it feels like velvet. Noah loves his little sister and kisses and pats her head and feet and loves to oogle over her. She has progressively lengthened her long sleeps at night. From birth she had at least one 4 hour stretch, by a month that was up to 6 hours, and now its 8-9 hours straight. She is still swaddled which helps her sleep so long and is now in her crib every night. I couldn't ask for a better baby! She eats well, sleeps well, and is mostly a happy little nugget!
We have had lots of family time lately, woo hoo!! A few short visits from my parents, a visit from Jordan's mom to go to Disneyland for Noah's first trip (overwhelming for him but he loved the rides!), and Jordan's brother and family moved in across the street last week.
We are on our second cold since I had her. I remember this with Noah too, my body saves it up during pregnancy and just gives in to every sickness after. Oh well, such is life! We are gearing up for a road trip through CA, OR, and WA in November...should be fun!
