This is going to be a serious picture overload
Little Stella has made it to 1 month already, I can't believe it! She has assimilated nicely into the family and is a very easy going baby, which is good because she is definitely not getting all of the attention like Noah did as an only child! Our life definitely did not slow down when she came, as you will see from the pictures, no rest for the weary around here :-) She has amazing big lips, light brown hair in the back/blonde on top, and blue/grey eyes so far.

| Seriously...these lips. |
Stella was a pretty bad eater at first. And by bad I just mean sleepy. She made it back within 1oz of birth weight by 2 weeks so the Dr. said she was fine, but I was pumping after each feeding and giving her a bottle of whatever I pumped each time to keep my supply up while she figured out life. I did that for about 2 weeks and man that was exhausting. I am down to just pumping in the middle of the night when she is sleepiest and am perfectly happy with that. She has gotten more awake/aware and is much more efficient now that we got her tongue taken care of (below). We took her to get weighed last night and she was 8 lbs 1 oz, aka gaining an ounce a day just as she is supposed to! Go Stella!!

| Taken a week or so ago |
| Taken yesterday...starting to fill out those newborn clothes :-) |
She had a fairly sever tongue tie when she was born, which made it so she couldn't stick her tongue out past her lips and it would pucker in in the middle and make it heart shaped. We decided to go get a consult with the ENT to see if we should get it taken care of and he said yes right away. He said it would interfere with where her teeth came in later and was best to get it clipped. So, at 19 days young she had a Frenulectomy. She is perfectly fine and we noticed an immediate physical difference and she has started eating much better too. Jordan watched and said she only cried when they held her down to give her the numbing meds, but was fine after that. I took Noah to the lobby to wait.
Big brother refused to acknowledge her at first, there was a giant force field around her and whoever was holding her. He seems to have recovered and now loves touching her soft head, feet, hands, etc. He definitely likes her now and even helped feed her a bottle.
-She has had lots of visitors and just kind of goes with the flow.
-She sleeps at least one 4-hour chunk every night and has since birth, its awesome! I even have had a few 6 hour stretches, but that was in the first week or so and they quickly went away...dang.
-She eats every 2-3 hours except eats basically ALL evening.
-She likes to be awake during the day and wiggle and watch everything.
-She smiles at you when you make raspberry noises at her and tickle her belly.
Here are pictures of her first month!

| Figured out how to stick that bottom lip out right away...we immediately saw Noah in her :-) |
| Nana (my mom) got the first visit. She stayed for two weeks to help too...AMAZING! BobBob came too, but that picture is on HIS camera! |
| Then came Uncle Josh, Auntie Erika, Grandma JuJu, and Papa Kevin for a visit, and to take daddy out to dinner. |
| Then we came home to see big brother Noah, who was more interested in the iPad (he didn't come to the hospital because he was sick) |
| Oh yah and playing with his new scooter Stella got him. |
| The night we came home from the hospital we headed over to Josh and Erika's house for our normal Friday night pizza night. They threw a "0" birthday party for Stella complete with decorations and party favors - Stella beer and Stella glasses! |
| The next day we took Stella out to visit her first field project with BobBob. I think she beat me by making it out to a project site at 3 days...they might have waited a week with me haha. That night we had everyone over for a BBQ at our house for my birthday, but no pictures of that. |
| Then we decided to relax for a few days. |
| And get some newborn pictures done by Auntie. |
Attended a wedding at 11days old. No pics of that one yet.
| Her first bath |
| With a great little helper |
| Then had a visit from the Great Grandparents. Great Grandpa Ken |
| Great Grandma Mary Lou |
| Four Generations of Ladies :-) |
| Oh yah and a visit from more greats! Great Grandpa Chuck (and Carol too!) |
And a visit from Auntie Ingrid and a fabulous dinner party but no pictures of those, darn!
| And a visit from friends, Iridae was very interested in holding the baby...Noah not so much. |
| Until the next day when he decided he wanted to be like Iridae. He loved being able to feed her. |
| He is an old pro, doesn't even need to watch. He's got it down. |
| We like to change outfits and wear all our fabulous girly clothes. |
| Or be too cool for pictures |
| Or too cool for clothes in general. |
| Or we hang out with our dolly in our bouncer |
| Or laugh at mommy |
| Or make Zoolander faces |
Ok I think that is enough pictures for now!!
