I feel great! I am so busy I often forget I am pregnant (not puking helps a LOT). Once we have out anatomy scan next Friday we can start buying things, woo hoo (or not if it its a boy...then I get to go shopping in my own house!). I feel like I don't even have time to worry about being pregnant. Work and life have been so busy that the days/weeks just kind of pass on by, it astounds me that we are almost halfway through the pregnancy. I need to stop and take care of myself and not let deadlines or pressure get in the way. I slipped on that a few times and my body bit back. I have been trying hard to not skip lunch, drink more water, and not get as stressed. I am so looking forward to Hawaii in April so that I can relax for a week.
I have been feeling little movements off and on. A few at 11-12 weeks, then I got busy and didn't pay attention. I have felt more over the last two weeks but baby is more active during the day when I have less time to pay attention. I try to relax at night and wait but not much happens then. Oh well, they will just get stronger and stronger as the weeks go on. The doctor said today that baby is very active and kept moving while she was using the doppler (well..maybe that was because the gigantic glass of juice I had before the appointment...) but also said SHE could feel baby from the outside. Granted, she does this multiple times a day, but apparently I just need to pay more attention :-)
Jordan thinks this baby is a girl (well...so does everyone else for that matter) because I was more sick with this one than with Noah. After I wrote my last post where I was "feeling better" I continued to be sick every other day until about 16 weeks. I have been in the clear since and it is so so nice. I am still undecided. I was sick at night again which is just like Noah, just for longer this time. No clue whatsoever I guess, which is weird because I was so sure Noah was a boy all along. Either way we will be happy and blessed no matter the outcome. Hard to imagine another Noah...what can be as great as him?!
Things to look forward to:
-Noah learning more every day, especially words and letters
-Noah's 2nd birthday in April and Jordan's family coming to celebrate (I am way behind...I designed the invites but have yet to print or write down a guest list...or anything else for that matter, oy)
-Hawaii in April, ahhhhhh.
-Cancun in June for a friends wedding (with a "maybe" from my doctor so far since I will be 33-34 weeks...I will probably still go)
-Noah visiting WA in June for a few weeks.
-New summer/vacation maternity clothes arriving in the mail next week from Gap and Old Navy...I hope they fit!
How far along? 18 weeks (technically tomorrow, but close enough)
Total weight gain/loss: +3 lbs overall. On the upswing!
Sleep: I get up once or twice to pee. I have a messed up muscle in my right shoulder but thats not pregnancy related, my issues with sleep have to do with the darn cats and a sick toddler...so I guess I will go for an overall "good".
Best moment this week: Appointment today with reassurance of healthy baby sounds and wiggles.
Movement: A few a day if I remember to pay attention.
Symptoms: Feeling pretty good! Only annoyance right now is my out of control allergies.
Symptoms I DON'T have: SICKNESS, YAYYYYYY!!!!
Food cravings: Nothing yet. I thought I wanted pickles...but wasn't too impressed once I got them. Lame. I just want large quantities of food.
Food aversions: Mostly meat in general (still)
Gender: We will find out March 9th!
Labor Signs: None yet, lets keep it that way
Belly Button in or out? In
What I miss: Wine and going more than an hour without peeing
What I am looking forward to: March 9th anatomy scan!
Milestones: Feeling good
