12 Months!

I am late. 1 months and 3 days late.

Well AT 12 months he was very sweet. and sick. We get sick approximately every 3 weeks...case in point we are getting over the second cold since then right now. Blech.

We had a fantastic time at Noah's birthday party - we had LOTS of people there. It was baseball themed and we had a BBQ in our back yard. So fun. Noah and his friend Iridae played in the bounce house and the water table. He is definitely a spoiled little boy. (I have a lot more pictures on facebook but I didn't really take any during the party. Dayquil+sudafed+hosting+ehhhh)

At 12 months he was:
-cruising like a mad man and *trying* to take steps but he just couldn't figure out how to move his feet unless he was holding on to something...even just one finger.
(I don't wannnnna walk)

-very talkative. Mama, Dada, dada (himself), daddda (grandpa), ddddaadaaaa (everything else) - obviously these all have different inflections. cat, he says that all the time. Bah (bottle...rarely. he signs milk instead.). bye, hi, hi dad, and lots of things we can't understand yet.
-he waves and says bye. when he wants to.
-Noah is just such a happy happy kid.
-He LOVES his daycare and is so happy when he gets dropped off. He freaks out every time I leave the house in the morning but then he is happy by the time he gets dropped off. So tough every morning but I know he is in good care.
-He is such a social baby (partly because its who he is, partly because of all his exposure to other kids and people).
We are truly blessed with this one! His birthday was bittersweet. I am SO happy to be out of the newborn/infant phase. They are really really cute...but really really hard :) I really love this stage and he is just learning things so quickly and so excited about life.
(yay Daddy!!!)
(obviously happy about the hat)
