Baby's now the size of a squash!
Ready or not, baby's getting ready to emerge. She's probably in the head-down position by now, with her bottom facing up. This is the comfiest way for her body to fit in your increasingly cramped womb and will make her eventual exit (only a few months away now!) much easier. (If she's still head-up, don't panic -- there's still time for a flip before birth.)
Late, but at least there's photos. New carpet, crib setup, crib bedding, and a visit from my brother and his girlfriend sum sup the last week. I feel enormous but have stayed steady at my +24 pounds with 0 gain at each of the last two appointments. I am solving this problem by eating everything I see, literally. I am also constantly exhausted but that is to be expected. 5 weeks 1 day until maternity leave, 7 weeks 2 days until due date :) Here's the photos!
Excitement...obviously :) This situation has been remedied by closing the door...for now. We will do tinfoil soon I think.

The nursery is looking good! We just started painting ours, and I am SO excited. I have a feeling my cats are going to be thrilled when we put a cat-size bed in the spare room... :)
